Terms of service
Last updated 17 August 2026
Plain version: you pay for access to the courses, you can cancel whenever you like, and the content is for you rather than for republishing. The rest is detail.
Who you are dealing with
MissionStack is a training service run by an individual sole proprietor in the United States. You can reach us at contact@learnmissionstack.com.
What a membership gives you
A membership opens every lesson and every course on MissionStack, including courses released while your membership is active. The first mission is free and stays free without a membership.
Access lasts for as long as your membership is active. It is not a permanent licence to the material.
Your account
An account is for one person. Please do not share your sign-in with others, and do not republish, resell or redistribute the lessons, exercises or exam questions. If an account is shared widely we may close it.
Payment
Membership is 39 USD a month or 349 USD a year, plus any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are.
Payments are taken by Stripe, who act as the merchant of record for this sale. That means Stripe is the seller of record, handles tax, and appears on your statement as LINK.COM* MISSIONSTACK. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
We may change prices in future. If we do, the change applies from your next renewal, never partway through a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it happens.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. See cancellation and refunds for the detail.
Programs we plan to build
We list paths we intend to build next. Those are our current plans, not a promise of a date or of any particular program. What a membership guarantees is access to everything available on MissionStack while it is active, including anything we ship during that time.
What we do not promise
MissionStack is training. It is not a job guarantee, a certification, or professional advice. The clients, missions and numbers in the course are realistic scenarios written for teaching — they are not real companies and the outcomes are not predictions about your work.
We do not promise that finishing the course will get you an interview, a job, or any particular result in one. Employers set their own standards, and many test skills this course does not cover — writing code among them.
We aim to keep the service running and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
How this course was made
MissionStack was written from public sources: published engineering guidance, job descriptions, and accounts from people who do this work. It is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Anthropic, Palantir, or any other company named in the course or its materials. Company, product and role names are used only to describe the field, and remain the trademarks of their owners.
The course teaches the judgment half of the work — discovery, scoping, architecture choices, trade-offs, and what happens after something ships. It does not teach or assess writing code, and it does not reproduce any employer's hiring process. Those processes change, and no course controls them.
Ending an account
You can stop using MissionStack whenever you like. We may close an account that is being shared widely, used to redistribute the content, or used to attack or disrupt the service.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
